COST OF XSENS METERS

Due to the clamp-on design, installed cost of XSENS meters are typically 50% lower than any inline meter. This because there is no cost in design of piping arrangement, cutting of pipes, welding of flanges and heavy lifting as for inline meters requiring scarf holding etc.

The cost of the meter itself depends on items like:

• Liquid flow rate only?
• Gas flow with or without small amounts of water?
• Water cut measurement?
• Install the meter close to a bend, pump or other restriction?
• Project specific requirements like testing, painting, certification, etc?

As an example, a standard 2” XRATE liquid flow meter will cost typically USD 20K-21K.
