NEW REPEAT ORDER | XACT LIQUID FLOW RATE AND WATER CUT METERS

XSENS AS, a leading provider of flow measurement solutions, wins another contract from a major independent oil company. The client is operating in the Norwegian North Sea and orders the XACT™ clamp-on flow and fraction meters.

The order is for one meter, which is used to measure liquid flow rates and water cut. The installation is on the same offshore platform where similar XACT™ meters currently operate.

The XACT™ clamp-on flow and fraction meter is known for its easy-to-install, lightweight, and low-cost design. It uses ultrasonic technology to measure liquid flow rate and water cut from 0-100%. What sets it apart is its novel approach of providing clients with full fluid velocity profile measurement. In fact, this is similar to inline ultrasonic meters without the need to break the integrity of the pipe.
